GRRRRRRR...who teaches these people how to drive??!

We finally got our rental vehicle, and took my car down to Boulder to get repairs. My sister drove us back, and naturally, like clockwork, the traffic gets backed up and fender benders start piling up, including one right in front of us.

It's really simple. Watch the traffic in front of you, and the vehicles in front of it, and also the vehicles around it. If you see brake lights, get on yours slowly...and don't follow so damned close, give the car behind you time to react, even if they're tailgating you. And get off your cel phones in heavy traffic! I don't mind seeing people in open roads talking on their phones as much as I hate seeing it in heavy traffic jams. THAT's why we were hit.

This simple accident did a number on our livelihood that's alot more difficult to recover from than it should be.

I believe in karma, in "what goes around, comes around". It's kept me from calling a lawyer into this, which was suggested from so many people....I could go after them for so much money from "pain and suffering", but my little angel on my shoulder says that's just not the right thing to do.

But there are some days lately I actually find myself second guessing that.

Time to get my mind off of it and get lost in World of Warcraft again.
