Vision is Focused


Some say I can not be that,
Because that is too far away.
I will not die before seeing the Herculean efforts of the masters.
I seek to find what the wise now know.
I can not afford this lack of motion.
I am all in all the most accomplished sinner I know.
I triple the platitudes and sink my teeth into the necks of those that will give me life.
I stamp out ignorance and rip out the heart of impatient fear.
I can not bow to indecision, lying down to disappear.
I will spawn a new ambition,
Making my vision clear.
I can, I will, I must.

Popular culture calls my name,
Then spits me back into the coals,
To feed the flame.
I see eternity embarking on its journey across the ocean of reality.
I hold on to the rope that anchors the ship still..
Waters flowing up over my head...
Trying to drown me and call me dead.
I will persist and not be bested.
You will assist and create a nest.
I will fit in and flow.
You are the best elixir I could ever consume.
My heart pounds, my head flexes and you appear.
I can not, will not stay the course of sameness and mendacity.
I intend to explode into the future...
