I Will Love You Ever More
I know what it is like to love a woman for an entire lifetime, and know that no matter how deeply, hopelessly, infinitely In Love with her I am...We will never be together. I know what it is to see her life, and my life, side by side, and to know that as they are now, they would never mesh. I know what it is to long for her in the day, and in the night, and yet know within the inner sanctum of my soul, that we will not ever, as long as this flesh survives this lifetime, be together. We will remain two, who are as ONE, and yet not. We will understand one another, we will hold one another, we shall kiss for the briefest of moments...and then turn away.....
And so desire, longing, hope, lust, and understanding of what is, and what shall never be, is not, and shall forever more remain so, will be my companions.
I hope that in the nearest of futures we shall have the opportunity to kiss good bye..in a way that I have always hoped we would..lest we never set eyes on each other ever again......
