I went to D.C. with Chris and Alex today.. the day as a whole was ok. We went to the Hirschorn Museum of modern art, which I loved, so that made it worthwhile.
They had a 'Visual Music' exhibit - I LOVED some of the paintings, especially 'Symphonie Verte' by Henry Valensi and several paintings by Mikhail Matiushin.
Art is one of my passions.. too bad I don't enjoy creating art, I just like to experience it.
Now I'm at Natalie's house. We were going camping tonight, but plans got changed, so instead we're making s'mores over the stovetop and watching 'Cops.'
She's making me some hot pink curtains with black lace netting over them.. she also made me a hot pink mirror with a black lace flower in the top corner and a small black shelf with turquoise stars.. it's nice having crafty friends who love you enough to make things for your house. My apartment is going to be decked out like an 80's prom queen.
