I called Richie right after work today - got a message saying "At the customer's request, this number has been temporarily disconnected."
What the hell? Am I still supposed to drive 300+ miles to see him next weekend, or is the fact that the phone got disconnected and he didn't bother to find a phone to let me know what's up a bad sign telling me to stay here?
I have his address.. Derek and I are thinking of just going anyway for the hell of it, and if he acts like I'm not wanted we'll just get a cheap motel and leave the next morning.
This shouldn't bother me so much,but dammit... I let myself
go and get attached to him like a moron.
I still don't know the whole story.. maybe he isn't trying to get rid of me as I imagine, and is in fact just forgetful (which he is) and hasn't gotten round to finding a phone to call me from.
