The Navy Times published the most recently frocked petty officers for the last advancement cycle. Andrew didn't make it, which sucks since I know he works his ass off and deserves it.
I only saw 13 names of people I know - my ex Schroeder got advanced, which made me supremely happy. I have to call him and tell him congratulations. Manista was on the list - he was a sort of boyfriend with a thick New York accent. Gebert, the "old man" at Corry, is now a 3rd class. All the rest are people I know that work around here.
Hopefully I'll be in the Navy Times next time - I test in September.
