You know it'll never stop hurting, you'll just get used to it in time....
but there are things you can do to make it a little easier. You're an excellent writer.. Immortalize those stories your grandmother told you in print... either in a little notebook or online, here.. anywhere.
YOU know how great she was, now share her with the rest of the world... THat's the only way a person can truly live forever is through the memories of others.
YOu might not believe in religion (neither do I) but that doesn't mean that you can't be spiritual. You don't know what's out there and therefore for all we know your grandma could be sitting on a ferris wheel eating cotton candy right now.
When I was in highschool I had a lot of friends die. IT was a bad couple of years. A few were suicides. I comforted myself by coming up with theories of what might happen when you die.
Everything from the traditional heaven and reincarnation to the most abstract theories on energy and black holes.
It doesn't matter what really does happen... It only matters that you can accept that it did.
Does that make sense?

As some of you may have read, my Grandmother passed away early in morning of 2/7/03. She was preceded in death by my Father two years ago 2/8/01.
The holidays and beginning of the new year always seem to bring out the worst the world has to offer and I dread the season like no other.
I hate the winter.

Im sorry to hear about your grandma. Its nice to have people in your family that youre close with. All you can really do is keep thinking about all those fun times and eventually you'll meet up with them again. I dunno where, but I believe somehow people manage to meet up again.

just got a phone call from my little sis'.
my grandmother on my mom's side passed away this morning at 4:30.
in other news, tomarrow is the 2 year aniversery of my Father's death.
i hate the begining of the new year,

I actually wrote a d20 thing last year called Xcrawl. So far we have only one book and a screen out, but the book is just getting ready to go into a second printing.
Im working on a new thing but the premise is kind of out there for a RPG, and now I am starting to think comic book with it. Cross a finger for me.
RPGers are starting to get force on the ol SG. Ive seen lots of Str 18 Dex 18 Ect in peoples Stats profile. We should start a group. They have one for everything - geographics, bands, tattoos, sobriety - everything but friggin gaming.
Thats cool you play fading suns - I had a friend back in Seattle threatening to run some fading suns but we never got around to it. How is the system?
