The "Shoot" buttong on my mouse started sticking so I went out to Fry's Electronics and picked up a new "pointing device". It's a microsoft Trackball Optical (part# X08-70346).
After using a mouse for well, ever, it's taking some getting used to. I'm told that once I adjust I'll never be able to go back to mice. I guess we'll see.
What I know about it right now is that I can't play Freelancer for shit with it. That is going to take a lot of practice for that to get better. I switched back to the mouse for a bit and went hunting Liberty Battleships for a while. Took 2 cruisers and a dreadnought by myself (3 seperate engagements). Latter tonight, after work, I'm going to try for 2 more with the trackball and see how badly it goes.
As for my Jerseygirl, things are going great! Lastnight we drove out east on hwy 60 past Appache Junction (and the end of hwy 60) and watch the metior shower. She saw 3 or 4. I didn't see squat, but we had a good time anyway.
