I think you did the right thing by giving her the gift. I was in the same dilemma at one time, ended up returning the gift I had bought him, and regretted it after the fact. I'm coming into this completely blind, but it sounds like it's time to move on. I know it sucks and hurts and all that stuff, but you'll be over her before you know it. And of course she looked good, it always seems that it works out that way. But usually it's just cuzz you're afraid to lose her and you want to hold on to her and are grasping for something. Anyway, it's 2 days later now so hopefully you're feeling better already!
