I feel more connected to life than I have in quite some time. Amazing what taking care of yourself, honoring your needs and desires, and friggin therapy will do for you.
With that, I have made connections with some absolutely incredible people, some beyond my wildest dreams. One of them decided he truly liked me enough from our zoom calls that he flew me out to Poughkeepsie for a long weekend to visit him. Unfortunately I didn't take ANY photos that I can share here (they may sneak onto my Instagram and Facebook where he gave me permission to). But suffice to say that even with Denver's airport trying to keep me and delaying my return home, nothing could wipe the smile off my face.
I got to cook a dish I made up, enjoy the beauty of upstate New York (for the second time in less than a year), have the most delightful conversations, and break necks as I walked through rooms.
