I got my recliner that will be my bed for the next month or so, I pick up my crutches and other recovery items today AND I get my presurgery covid (rapid result) test today. But guess what? I still dont know what time surgery is on friday!

My anxiety and stress levels are through the roof. I'm trying to get as much school work done as I can right now because I dont know how much I will be able to do next week while I'm down...

My parents are coming over from seattle to be here after my surgery for a few days (they did this post shoulder repair too, I am their only child afterall).

I may have also dropped $500 on legos THAT I WONT BE ABLE TO BUILD at least for this first week of recovery.

Be sure to send me lots of happies and I'll try not to babble on here too much on painkillers :)

Sending you lots of positive vibes! I'm sure your surgery will go just fine, you are in excellent hands with very competent doctors! Take a few deep breath and the anxiety will ease. Nice that your parents will be there when you recover the first few days. I had a little oral surgery last Friday. It was tougher than expected. My doctor said that "I brought here a good one". She even asked if I want to take a break. I signaled to get it done as fast as she can. Afterwards I was thinking may she needed a break. Oh well. For the first time I felt I needed to lay down after a procedure, I was exhausted. Wish you all the best, good success and those Legos sound awesome! Recover quickly, so you can build them soon!
