Halloween has come and gone, and while I didn't have a ton of holiday spirit, I managed to scrape some up and decorate (okay, I left decorating to the boys while I was at work, drinking whiskey sours on the clock) just in time for trick-r-treaters and my dad coming over from Seattle for some Halloween cheer.
Can you tell it was semi-Freddy Krueger themed? We, as always, handed out full sized candy bars, and this year instead of spike hot cider for the parents, we had Reanimator style jello shots in syringes (thanks mom for the medical supplies!) Those jello shots were a hit (they were last year too, easy to get drunk on). Astrid and Keena (John Cena..I mean Keena anyone?) even got in on it. 63 kiddos this year, compared to last year's 37.
With Halloween being over...winter decided it was time NOW
and I have to agree with my new favorite weather app! It's been coming down pretty steadily for the last few days.
Work is going well, a little hectic since we are finally moving to our new building (it's been under renovation for like...5 months). And I am almost completely down with PT after shoulder surgery in July!
The countdown is on, under 3 months til my new set with @skidtography goes into MR! Are you excited? I am. A touch too early for teasers yet, I'd have posted the whole set in teasers in 3 months time haha!
