2 months since a blog...shit, what's wrong with me! If you follow me on facebook or instagram you may have seen that I had a nice, quiet birthday and at the beginning of December was given a hell of an opportunity to get out of the miserable job I was in, and fly across the country to work for a couple weeks at a time and build up my bank account. It's temporary, but it is something. Traveling is kind of fun too, I get my own hotel room, they pay my airfare, hotel and a daily food allowance. I work 12 hour days, and come back to my room aching and bruised, but satisfied with my work.
Got to come home for Christmas, then head back to Seattle for New Years to celebrate with both families. Came back with a car load of goodies, with more on the way thanks to my in-laws, because the larger items wouldn't fit into my car. We have about a foot of snow on the ground and it keeps coming down in little flurries. This is the kind of winter I moved here for!
I'm hoping after this next trip ( I leave Friday and won't come back til probably the 27th) that I will have time to work off the holiday bloat and start shooting with @skidtography . I have a great idea and the wardrobe for all the snow we have on the ground.
But for now, it's time for me to clean up the piles of goodies I was sorting through and start packing my workboots and hard hat. I will try to stay in better touch, but no promises.
