Heading out tomorrow for a long weekend at the cabin, like we do every summer with the in-laws. I definitely need the time away and while I am looking forward to it, I'm also a bit bummed this year, because neither of the cousins are going to be there, so it'll just be us, his parents, his sister and her husband. I'm also just getting over a nasty bug, so the typical over drinking all weekend, doesn't quite sound like a bucket of fun. I am looking forward to the fresh mountain air (the air here is so thick with smoke from the nearby brush fires) and a lot of swimming.
I will be sure to take a ton of pictures (like I always do) and flood my social media accounts with photos when I get internet access. The nice part of the cabin is that there is no WiFi, no cell service and just a whole lot of calm.
