A Spot In The Sun is at 990 likes and over 200 comments in under 2 weeks. That is THE BEST any of my sets has ever ever done and whether it turns me pink or not, I am ECSTATIC. Thank you to all the supporters, and thank you to all of my amazing friends rallying for me and posting about my set!

It has been in the high 90's and even up to 111 degrees here...Thank goodness for air conditioning. The furbabies are thankful for it too. On Thursday I flew back to Seattle to work a special yearly project with my old company, worked 36 hours in 4 days, but so worth it. Corey came over too and worked, and we will be stashing everything we made, hopefully for a special trip, and to help with bills if I get to leave on the special opportunity that is being figured out still. In our off time in Seattle, I ran to my favorite giant Asian market and loaded up on snacks. We also spent a bunch of our "free time" there visiting Corey's grandmother who is battling some pretty aggressive cancer. It was heart wrenching to sit and talk with her, to see her so vulnerable and weak, she treated it as if it was the last time we will see her (and damn it I won't let that happen) and gave us the "take care of each other" speech..man I could use a drink after all that.
On a much much better note, @skidtography and I (and his spouse and kids and my spouse) took a bit of a hike on one of the hottest days for a quick little shoot in a lovely meadow. Well in that lovely little meadow was a creek and an amazing waterfall. We were shooting a set with my lovely bunny Wednesday the 13th for a prize on zivity, and decided on some extra little bits for my portfolio. He has been sending me edits and I thought I would share
What do you think? Being soaked to the bone in that freezing waterfall really helped with the hike back to the car. We then had an awesome bbq and a waterballoon fight with his kiddos!!!
Well, it's just about wine thirty and I could really use it.
