I was away from SG all weekend. The amount of posts in my feed was overwhelming! But it was a pretty good weekend. Friday night at work sucked. I got to work with one of my favorite co-workers (Rainbow-yes, that really is her name), but also with the one I hate.,..and the one I hate threw my friend in the middle of bullshit, talking shit about me while I was out doing other work, then talking shit about Rainbow to me. And the one I hate is supposed to have responsibility and be in a lead sort of position, and she abuses that. Saturday morning, I had to work too, and with Rainbow and my boss (who is also my father), and Corey. So on the way to the job site, Rainbow and I explained how the hated one acted the night before and how we thought she was incompetent as a lead, and as a worker, and really how she was just a complete bitch. Dad agreed that she was abusing the little power she was given and seeing as how she has called in sick at least once a week for the last month, she isn't in the best standings. The job Saturday went way longer than we had expected, but that means more money, and the client had bought us donuts

Thank god for powerful vacuums.
This was also in their parking lot

Our clients try to make their work environments fun, and we tend to make games and ridiculous jokes (like churro sploog) while we work, otherwise our brains would explode.
I traded my Saturday night shift to go to a Seattle Thunderbirds hockey game with Corey and his sister Rachel. She brought friends, and they'd been drinking before the game, and continued through and afterwards. They were pretty loud, but it was hilarious and made the game so much more entertaining. They played Portland, and someone tried to throw a dead fish on the ice..and failed miserably, and Portland ended up beating us, but it was fun!

We went to bed basically the minute we got home from the game (hey, don't judge us, we got up at 6:30, worked an 8 hour shift, then went to the game and screamed our lungs out).
We had planned on sleeping in Sunday morning, but Rachel had told us that she and the parents were going dog hunting for her, so we tagged along. We thought it would be a couple hour search...but no. We left her house at 9:30 am and didn't get back til 5:30. We went all over the damn place, looking at shelters for that perfect dog for Rachel. We didn't find one yesterday, and she and her dad are out today, still searching. I hope she finds one, and one that won't stress her bunnies out too much.
Here's some random photos:
I asked in an announcement (and got great responses), but I'll ask here too: Do you think a Cthulhu themed set would go over well? I'm collecting TONS of Cthulhu-y goodies (and if you want to help me collect, it would be GREATLY appreciated especially the Squishable Cthulhu at the top), and I'm starting to plan a Mythos themed sleeve.
Money is a major need right now, and all of my money is going into savings, for our apartment. But goddamnit, I want to start on the sleeve, and I need some of my existing ink touched up. We may have actually found a really good apartment. YAY!
A month from Friday my set goes up. I'm pretty excited! And this Sunday is Mel's 21st birthday. I think I'm going to get tackled for the presents Corey and I got her. And I welcome that tackling!
Love you all
Ow, and more striped stockings! MORE we tell ya
