Well, I managed not to have a terrible time yesterday.
After my last blog, I felt a little vulnerable, and Corey and I both needed a big pick me u, so we went out to Outback and had a good steak. A perfectly cooked steak always makes me happy. Plus we played air hockey with the coasters on the table.
Corey drove me to work friday night since he went out with the guys from work for a beer instead of coming right home. Saturday we worked together.
My weekend has been filled with coffee and cookies. Would you expect anything less? Corey's mom made probably 20 dozen cookies. That woman is CRAZY. Before we headed over to the grandparents' to watch the Superbowl, Corey and I took the El Camino out for a little ride (and to give Astrid the last of his meds). Having cookies and a ride in my favorite car was a great start to a day I was dreading.
I was more into watching the Superbowl for the commercials, and some of them were pretty good. I liked the one for the new VW beetle best. I definitely called what it was about too! We all rooted for the Packers too, because as Seahawks fans, we have an utter hatred for the Steelers after what they did to us in the Superbowl a couple years back.
Corey and I aren't really doing anything for Valentine's day. Nothing big at least. I think the current plan is to go to a strip club and some sex shops. V-Day weekend, we got suckered into watching the kid I used to babysit while working in the salon here. Free haircuts/dyes and some pay is a nice trade I guess. I'm also buying Corey some Show Devils merch. I don't know what else to do for him.
We bought our Emerald City Comic Con 3-Day passes the other day too. Go us! And I'm working on uploading another set to Zivity.
Sorry, no pictures today and just a whole lot of words
But I am going to start going to the gym at least 3 times a week. 2 days of bootcamp a week and one day of Zumba classes....oh boy! I'm going to die the first few days.
Okay, done rambling. Thank you everyone for the messages and comments and friendships

And I'm reading that comic right now. It's pretty good.
