What a fucking week!
Monday my father told me Astrid was getting a little sick, sneezing and snot bubbles, he was pretty pitiful, but we thought we'd wait a few days to see how he was before we took him to the vet.
Wednesday, Corey wanted to prove to the guys in the Audi shop that I was indeed real, and not a fat desperate loser, because they didn't believe the crazy sex stories we have could be with anyone attractive. So I went in, met them, they asked me questions, then Corey and I went to the Dick's Burgers near his work, then down to 1st Ave to our favorite military surplus store. I needed boots for our trip to play in the snow and Corey needed new work boots.
I took my father's shift at work so that I could have Friday off. So I had to drive out to Bothell, from Corey's work, and traffic sucked. I ended up getting there an hour early, and was trying to get some things ready, but our supply cage wouldn't open and the whole night just ended up being a clusterfuck.
By Thursday morning, Dad and I decided it was time to take Astrid to the vet. But as I was on the phone with him making plans, I looked in the back yard, and saw this:
I let Molly chase it away for me and told the neighbors.
So we loaded snot-boy up and sat in the vet's waiting room. It turns out he has something like kitty bronchitis, so they gave him Amoxicillin (which I am allergic to). I also took him into the bathroom and let the hot shower run and steam up the bathroom, to help him breathe. Thursday was a big day. Other than the vet trip, I got an email from the lovely etaK with an apology and this:
Art etaK
(the image won't attach...the bastard)
I told her it was SO worth the wait. She even got some of my tattoos in there. She's sending me a signed print too!
Corey and I had a dinner date with the former BAPB so I made dessert
Nutella fudge mini cupcakes with chopped hazelnut topping.
We chatted and munched on crackers, asian pear apple and different cheeses.
We were also planning a new set and here are some shots of Corey and I testing the lighting. Plus these are just romantic and adorable photos
A friend of BAPB's came over just as dinner was done cooking and we all sat down to an amazing rime rib dinner with aged cheddar sprinkled over the green beans
Friday was an emotional roller coaster day. My dad got the courage to take our very old kitty (well...15 years old, and who was originally my uncle's cat that moved in with us when he did and didn't leave when he did) to the vet. She was at a point where she couldn't clean herself, could only chew on the back teeth of one side of her mouth and was looking like an old lady with dementia. The vet agreed that she had lived a good long life and it was best to put her down. RIP Sara jane. I had a coffee in her honor. She loved stealing my dad's coffee and eating tootsie rolls. I was pretty mopey and walking Molly. It started raining...and +sigh+
When Corey got home from work, we got dressed up and went down to Renton. We got a cupcake, wandered through the art shop (bought more art) and headed over to Diamond Tattoo to see The Enigma, We didn't know he was actually tattooing in the back, so we left, went to give Astrid meds, then called Diamond and asked about it. So back we went...and ended up scheduling tattoos for ourselves from him. We got pizza for dinner and crashed early.
Saturday morning, we picked up the little girl Corey's parents watch once a month, and his sister and her...boyfriend and we all went to North Bend to eat before going to Snoqualmie pass to intertube in the snow. It was tons of fun and the little girl had a blast, switching between riding in my lap and Corey's sister's lap, and going by herself. Good thing we brought a change of clothes, because we were soaked by the end of our 2 hour session. Corey and I had to work after that.
Yesterday....oh god...
We had breakfast with the family, gave Astrid his morning dose of meds, then headed to see The Rite. I love Anthony Hopkins and his role was good, but the whole of the movie was...so so. We left the movie when there's was still about 10 minutes. We headed over to Diamond tattoo and checked in. The Enigma was running a little behind, so we went to get lunch, then went back and waited. He ended up being about 2 hours behind in schedule, but that was fine, we sat there and chatted with him while he did a tattoo on another person. Then it was our turn. And Corey was first!
He was cracking jokes and being cheesy and funny. Had to make it interesting, since both Corey and I were getting puzzle pieces on our ass cheeks.
God I love his ass!
But you don't really want to see his. Here's the process of mine:
He hand drew the design on our asses in ball-point pen (which we got to keep)
He was nice enough to take pics with me
bloody puzzle piece
finished:
I promised I'd mention his performances.
visit the website and see if they're performing near you. And buy stuff....cuz they have awesome stuff
The Show Devils
Corey and I limped our way through dinner and giving Astrid his meds. We came home and whined until we fell asleep. Both of us are miserable today. our pants are sticking to our asses and Corey's limping around work. But it was so worth it.
I promised you more ass and tits too (ass pics taken before tattoo day):
