It's been a very busy last few days. I've been cramming as much time in with friends that are in town for the holidays, as I possibly can. There's been a few adventures over the last few days and I have pictures (crappy cellphone pictures, but pictures nontheless).
First of all though, I want to express my pride in my dear fiance Corey. He got the job that he interviewed for right before Christmas at University Volkswagen and Audi in Seattle. I am so proud that it took him just a few weeks after graduating to get a job in the field. On Tuesday he went in to the dealership to finish filling out paperwork and get the tour. He was introduced to a guy working on the Audi side, then was told he would be apprenticing this guy and left with him to tear apart the subframe of an Audi S5. We thought maybe he'd start as a lube tech on the VW side, but no, he got thrown right into the Audis and he is so damn happy about it.
While he was starting work on Tuesday, I got to snatch up my best friend Redd and have adventure time with her. We started our day with sushi
It was quite delicious. We ended up wandering the mall, spending our Christmas money on things we really didn't need, like this
Corey met up with us and took us to a different mall after he got off work, where we continued to wander aimlessly and send money we really shouldn't have ( I don't have pictures of things I bought, the following are things I couldn't avoid snapping a picture of)
I have now seen one in real life and I am horrified (Lady Gaga love doll)
Disney overstock warehouse?
I'm so glad this was cleared up for me
I've always wanted to do this!
I guess they're putting everything in a vending machine now
Yesterday, I didn't get to take Redd along with me (but it was her 20th bday and her dad claimed her) and Acey and Corey's cousin Jessica on our Pionerr Square/ Cupcake outting. Again...spending money on things I didn't really need. Bought more Dry Soda (I can get it in certain grocery stores, but I wanted to take the girls to the tasting bar). We wandered around in the cold, I found a new stocking stuffer for Corey (we did a Secret Santa sort of thing once Jessica got into town), replacing the white chocolate cocoa I had gotten him with the new found gift....a roll of black toilet paper. We headed to Downtown Renton once we got word that the snow was picking up, got cupcakes and coffee ( I can't resist the pull of Common Grounds in Renton, they have good coffee and nummy cupcakes), browsed a local art shop, then dropped Acey off on our way back to do the stocking stuffers and white elephant exchange, thus bringing Christmas to a final close this year for me.
Jessica and I just got back from shopping, spending the last of our money on candy and bras and food. I came home to a couple of packages from amazon ( I used my amazon gift cards to buy myself some presents from my WISHLIST)
A Knight who says "NI!" He's actually about 18 inches tall
And some new nipple rings
Tonight it's dinner and poker with Corey's family. I work tomorrow morning and maybe we'll have an interesting evening tomorrow, go to a Sound Of Music singalong at the 5th Avenue Theater Saturday, and work saturday night. Will I ever get to stop and breathe?
Hope everyone has a really great New Year's eve and I'll see you in the new year!
