I'm going to do this pretty quick, and I keep looking over my shoulders, waiting for Corey's parents to walk by and give me a strange look, at least there's no boobs visible while I'm typing this, and I'm PRAYING Corey's dad has no idea what this site is.
My dad has kept Corey and I very busy working with his company the last few days. In 3 days time, we have grossed a combined sum of about $400. Fucking awesome. I love that I am a 20 year old, blue haired girl without a degree, not even in school, and in those days that I've been working, I have been in a supercomputer company, a pharmaceutical research and development lab, and an aerospace technology lab. I get paid $14/hr to"microclean" up after some pretty intelligent people, but in some cases, I make more money than them. I will say the hours I work are a bit odd, but I can really only be there when the employees have gone home for the day, so that we aren't in their way and they aren't in ours. We have some weird chemicals we work with, and I snapped a picture of Corey wielding a backpack vacuum in our cleanroom garb

And I've seen this image posted on the LOL sites I frequent, but until last night, had not actually seen one in person

Have to have a sense of humor when your company is open 24/7 right?
I'm so so damn glad to be home, I can't even explain it. I haven't felt such a deep-seated sense of happiness in so long. The rain makes me smile, small little things make me laugh and rejoice. One of our favorite radio stations here (KISW for any of you Washington folks) has a show called the Men's Room. Well, they tend to drink a lot on the show, and actually have developed their own beer. Corey and I were wandering through a grocery store talking about the show when we stumbled upon the display for it....too bad neither of us are 21(11 months and 11 days for me)

We had a lot of time to ourselves today, and decided it was time to traipse to our favorite area of Seattle: Capitol Hill. Corey was in search for a new coat, and I was just dreaming. Corey did find a coat, then we went to meet the Former BAPB at a Starbucks on the 40th floor of the Colombia Tower on 5th avenue. HOLY SHIT! The view is jaw dropping. Plus it was nice to sit and talk to my friend again and have him meet Corey. There's talk of another set by us....by we're going to study and plan goddamnit!
After coffee, Corey and I drove out to Alki beach (another place we frequent and wander). We went into Spuds. Corey's boring and got chicken and fries, I got fried scallops and fries. I honestly think Spuds and Dick's have the best fries around...fucking love them

Have I mentioned I'm fucking happy to be home?
I'm still working on that stupid PO box. They don't count SS Cards and birth certificates in the category for safe forms of ID to use, so I'm scrambling to find another one besides my driver's license. I'm hoping the form I printed off the voter registration site will work, since the entire state of Washington is now mail-in ballots and you don't get a voter card that tells you what your poll location is....+ramble ramble ramble+
Wow..how have I managed to type this much and not have someone look over my shoulder? There's a glass of rum and coke next to me that I should probably get working on, and I need to start the Breast Actives treatment I ordered. YAY BIGGER BOOBS! Good god the cookies in the kitchen are not helping my desperate (but kind of lacking) attempt to lose weight!
I hope the weekend is beginning well for everyone. I have tons of family christmas events to go to, and I'm hoping the one on sunday will include my favorite Norwegian foods: Lefse and Lutefisk! I love my heritage!
And you guys....really I do
Addition:
I absolutely adore that it has been raining for over 24 hours here, sure the roads are a little scary because the other idiots can't drive, but I was born in rain like this, took my driver's test in rain like this.....I adore it.
Also, when Corey and I got home from work last night, his mother told us that we had gotten the final bill back from our apartment complex. We prepared ourselves for the worse, since we had pretty much destroyed the carpet (between the roommate's chihuahua pissing everywhere, eating stencil paper, and then spilling tattoo ink) and the blinds were shot up by air-soft guns and Astrid pulling them down and holes in the wall......so yeah...we didn't take that great of care of our apartment, but I blame roommates. But Corey's mom and I did SO much cleaning, our fingertips literally stung when we washed our hands (we joke that we scrubbed our fingerprints OFF). Well, our cleaning paid off. We didn't get charged for the carpet....and are getting a $13 refund from our $400 deposit!!!!

Can it please stop raining out here? Hopefully, you are not near the Cedar River. It's bound to flood sooner or later.
Nice blog, and I really like that pic of Corey as well. He seems like a great guy--I wonder if he's got a profile on SG now...
