I really haven't been up to much in the last few days, but I still feel the need to update this thing every few days, I'm not sure why.
Well, as I announced Monday, I'm not crazy. Okay, so I am pretty close to crossing the line of being completely insane, but that's the point here. The other night, I was sitting on our reclining couch, browsing the interwebs while Corey played on his ipod touch. I briefly looked up and over at our other couch (okay, so technically, they're both loveseats, but let's not get picky here) and shrieked when I saw a small brown mouse dive into the couch. But because I'd been doped up of cough meds and in a haze, and was the ONLY one of the 4 people in the apartment who saw said mousey, I was called crazy.
Well, since then, I've been tearing off the cushions almost hourly, moving stuff, cleaning up and looking for the mouse that taunts me. I knew I wasn't crazy (not in this case at least) because Astrid had gone into hunting mode and sniffing around and watching for the mouse that had now begun taunting the both of us. Monday he was sniffing around another art of the apartment, and I see him come flying out of a pile of blankets with something in his mouth. He brought it over to the kitchen, and I got a good look at a furry little brown butt. I grabbed gladware and made Astrid drop it, tossing him into the bedroom.
I put the little mousey into gladware and set him on the counter to prove to Corey and the roomies that I hadn't completely lost it. I named him Fievel and snapped a couple pictures of him

Isn't he the cutest?
Moliere wanted to say hello, since he was sharing his food

Once Corey got home from school, he and I went to some nearby fields to release Fievel, and just as I hopped out of the truck, a wild bunny ran by.I sure hope mice don't have a good sense of direction. I'd hate to see Astrid have another chance at the poor thing. I think I'll name my future chinchilla Fievel..

Since I wasn't here on Corey and I's anniversary, we had made the decision to "celebrate" on the anniversary of our first zombie walk together (zombies and our relationship really go hand in hand). Well, that was last night. He didn't get home til 8:30pm, so we had very little time, but we made mac & cheese, and I snapped more pictures
Raw cookie dough heart. Baking it did not result in the same shape

Eating raw cookie dough because we're fatties

Corey putting his stencil on the pumpkin

His Stencil (love for you if you recognize the design):

My stencil

My finished pumpkin

I've been slowly working on cleaning (it's really hard to be motivated when I am the ONLY one doing it) and Astrid's been having crack attack moments, running around, jumping up the sliding glass door, jumping into places he really shouldn't be. Example:

Still working on perfecting the set that BAPB and I shot. Having it denied twice is a little disheartening, but I'm full of stubborn blood. Thanks to the one and only Hexxus I think we may have it this time. By the way, let's make that girl pink already kay?
Best wishes to my dear friend RemoD66 in his final Repo performances this weekend. I know they'll be jaw-dropping and gruesome!
Best wishes my dear friends. I am off to try to keep myself happy and sane....a pickmeup of SOME kind is in order....just don't know what
