Yay for more updates!
I've been pretty constantly running and doing things while I've been here in Seattle. My dad is still having me work a ton, and it's nice to know I'll have a good chunk of money for when Corey and I move back (though I'll probably spend some at the Combichrist show and I'm still on the search for a good birthday present for him!)
Monday was Corey's 20th birthday and our 2 year anniversary, so I tried to keep busy, lest I get overly depressed. My father and I went to Pike Place Market and wandered some of the nearby art galleries
I love the smell of Pike Place, the crowds, the bustle of people shopping and sight seeing. Oh and the samples! Nuts and oils, smoked salmon, Market Spice Tea, spreads and jellies. There was a rose petal jelly that I forgot to stop back and get..sad. Oh and chocolate linguine....not chocolate dipped noodle....the noodle was flavored like chocolate. I wonder how it'd taste cooked....
We stopped at my favorite store in the underbelly of Pike Place: Golden Age Collectibles. It's a comic book and movie paraphenelia dream!
I've had a weird attraction to anything Cthulhu since I got Hello Cthulhu! on my thigh
Awww I love being a heathen! I bought myself the one that says "Lutefisk" in the middle to honor my love of my Norwegian heritage!
Me Sum's Pastries and lovely Hombow
And for those of you who have never been to Pike Place and have never seen the original Starbuck's sign:
She has nipples
Then Emmit Watson's Oyster Bar where my father bought us 6 oysters on the half shell
So fresh and delicious!
Tuesday Morning I met with the very awesome BAPB at the coffee place I had suggested to him, and had gone to with my father just the other day: Common Grounds. He was kind enough to buy me coffee and a pumpkin spice cupcake (healthy breakfast, no?) and we sat there and chatted for quite a while. Then we wandered around the antique shops and glass blowing place (nothing else was open then). He shot a couple cool photos of me while we were finding vases at antique shops, here's one
I then went shopping and out to lunch with a good friend...walking around for HOURS before bending and walking for work for another 5-6 hours...oh joy. I worked a bit yesterday too, but mainly just stayed in bed.
I had bought Molly a couple treats for adjusting to my need for sleep
The only squirrel she'll ever catch
Several hours later, that bone was in pieces.
I have the next two days off from work, with no real plans today, but tomorrow is packed....Be careful what you wish for definitely applies to this trip. I was so tired of just sitting around the apartment, now that's all I want to do.
I know that I'm going to go back to school once we move back up here, but people are pushing me to go for the quarter that starts right after the move. I don't think I'll be able to handle that stress.
I invite you to add me on facebook again if you haven't done so already :

I'm going to go back to reading smut, munching on cookies and waiting to take my father to the Halloween store. Still not exactly sure what I'm wearing on Halloween....
