I'm going to warn you now...this blog is going to be a photo dump!
Corey and I left Sacramento for Monterey at about 11 am Friday. We had planned to meet RemoD66 at the Paper Wing Theater at 3 pm to have quality time with him before the show. We loaded up on snacks and caffeine
On the road
We got a little turned around in Monterey (just like we did last time) and were a few minutes late for our 3 o'clock meeting with RemoD66, but he had waited patiently for us. We found parking and walked with him past some lovely little beachfront shops to the BIG SURPRISE he had been teasing us with for these last few weeks. Turns out, he had stumbled upon some passes to the Monterey Bay Aquarium! What a wonderful treat! Corey and I had wanted to go but didn't have the time or money last time.
We arrived in time for the feeding in the giant kelp garden and loved watching the fish and leopard sharks huddle around the diver like excited puppies waiting for treats.

Remo treated us to some delicious burgers, then left us at the theater door at about 6pm to go get ready for the show. Corey and I rushed to the hotel to check in and change into our own outfits. I had bought curlers to put my hair up in and that was a goddamn fiasco. The hair got stuck and we ended up chopping off chunks of it because we were so low on time and patience. We got turned around and lost on the way to the theater , but made it there with about 5-10 minutes to spare and sat in the front row, though it was considered the "splatter zone".
The show was incredible, the actors played their parts wonderfully and deeply impressed us.
Afterwards there was a meet and greet before the cast cleaned up and dug into the cake and cookies Corey and I had brought

Saturday, we had the honor of meeting Remo's parents and son. And I am so very glad that we got to listen to some of his father's tales. We are truly hoping he is healing well from his ER visit and wish his family the best! After some chatting with Remo's son and parents and love from their dog Karma, we headed to Pebble beach and the 17 mile drive (which we were told is not really 17 miles in length )
Beach photos
After the beach, RemoD66 said goodbye to us at our hotel so that he could attempt to get back into a normal schedule and relax before another show that night. At about 8 pm Corey and I decided to attempt to find beach access near the Paper Wing Theater. We failed miserably at that. But since we were at the theater and we knew they had just begun another perfomance, we raced up the steps and waited for a cast member to see us (I do believe it was the lovely lady who played Amber Sweet). She quickly opened the door, and I think she recognized us. We told her we were there the night before and just wanted to leave another $5 donation. We hope it helps the cast and theater in their future productions.
We headed back to our hotel and decided to order pizza and lay around nekked and snap random photos.
(disclaimer: no full nude pics of Corey, and these are photos from both Friday night (after the show) and Saturday night)
Hotel randomness
We checked out of our motel at 10 am had breakfast at McDonald's ( I ate horribly unhealthy food this weekend) and headed out of town. Corey promised we could stop in Gilroy (known for...garlic..and garlic alone) on our way home, so we did just that
I was able to pick up one of my favorite snacks and taste test the flavors!
mmmm pickled garlic. Corey won't kiss me now
But we made it back safely.
I haev to head off to work soon. And have a meeting with a photographer tomorrow for a paid shoot.
I'm still open for clay commissions.
I hope everyone had a great weekend.
Thank you again RemoD66 for helping us come to the show and have so many adventures!
