Cadavre...still not at 100%. I suppose it's really my fault though.

I really should be eating a lot lighter of foods, but I can't avoid my cravings.

The 4th was kind of lame for me this year. We had no access to +good+ fireworks this year, but we bought a few fountains and ground blooms, so we lit those off when it got dark. I'm so used to having access to thousands of dollars worth of fireworks bought from the reservations, that I just wasn't really motivated to enjoy the day. There's nothing like voluminous clouds of sulfur being sucked into your lungs. I love the smell....

I made dinner (kind of)

But mostly, I made the drinks. In honor of my missing home terribly on one of my very favorite holidays, Corey and I decided to make Washington Apples:

I was not going for glamorous

You can't have an America holiday without apple pie soooo.....

Because it's been so hot here (remember, I was born in Seattle, anything over 70 has me hiding) I've been freezing water balloons to give the animals

After a couple drinks, we decided to play with waterballoons ourselves:

<video wouldn't upload...sadface>

By 10, we had lit off all of our fireworks and were bored. There wasn't much of a show going on in the apartment complex, so we called up one of Corey's classmates (who happens to be our neighbor) to see if he wanted to join us on the roof of the theater Corey works at. We made up to-go Washington Apples and set out, climbing the ladder to the roof and lighting up some cigarettes. Everyone who tried our drinks was instantly in love with them

To go drink...hehe....fetus...(actually the sticker says "Dying Fetus")

A very blurry Corey on the roof.
There's a picture of me somewhere...but I can't find it

We got talked into going to a party another one of the Regal employees was throwing...and because it was full of irritating people of both genders, I decided to drink...and I drank way too much.

This is a monument to my night, before it went downhill.

I made the naive mistake of drinking a lot of straight up apple flavored vodka...then drinking too much Sailor Jerry's. BAD IDEA. I have never been that drunk in my life. I spent 5 minutes vomitting in the sink, and clearly remember asking the host where his garbage disposal switch was. All the females at the party kept calling me "hardcore" because I could take my shots without a chaser. After the sink was cleaned, Corey and I stumbled outside to his truck. He propped me in the back seat and left my door open, so that I could hang my head out the door and continue emptying my stomach of all food and alcohol. This went on for over an hour. Corey sat in the truck, or sat on the curb to hold my hair and keep me calm. I cry...EVERYTIME that I hurl...

He sobered up enough and I stop throwing up long enough for us to get home. Ben was awake when we got in, Corey started telling him about the night and I clearly remember saying "shut the fuck up and get me to bed." I also remember being asked throughout the night if I was "good" and I would respond with "I'm good, I got a wall".

I slept til 11 am (got in at about 5 am) where I once again, had to vomit. Large amounts of alcohol do not mix well with a stomach bug. I spent all of Monday in bed, trying to choke down bread and water.

Again, I'm feeling a lot better, but I'm still not 100%.

I'm now trying to motivate myself to clean the apartment. My parents are coming to visit for the weekend (in the middle of they're anniversary travels). I also have to pack up the stuff we're not going to need in the next few months in the apt for them to take back to washington with them (they're driving).

Speaking of Washington, I forgot to put these in the blog about my travel back home:

Corey getting greasy at one of my favorite coffee stands with the 1967 El Camino we're going to inherit within year. The power steering belt would roll everytime the car was started and it kept slipping off.

Stay cool SGland.

I'm excited about the sets that are going live lately. It's about time some of the did. It's about time the arsty ones got another chance.
