Fuck fuck fuck fuck FUCK

Corey and I had bought tickets for The Adicts show over a month ago (the day of the Cattle Decapitation/Job For A Cowboy/ Whitechapel show).

I was so damn excited for the show. A friend had introduced me to the music a couple years ago and the underground punk shows I've gone to have always done a cover of at least one of the songs. With everything going on (and me trusting too much in venues) I didn't look into anything about the concert to make sure it was still going on.



Corey and I got all dressed up. I even did my makeup kind of like Monkey's.




We got to the venue over an hour early...and it was empty...no flyers, no lines...nothing. We waited around and a few more people arrived. We all stood around waiting, worried. One of the people pulled out their receipt for the tickets and Corey called the record store we had bought our tickets from. They told us it was cancelled....a week ago. WTF!?!?! So we went back and got our money back.

So Corey and I drove around, dressed up, trying to think of something to do.


We settled on getting pizza

(sitting on the tailgate, smoking a cigarette, waiting for our order to be ready)


Then we went home, pigged out, and watched Invader Zim.

I didn't have a good night....I was upset about a conversation Corey and I had....and feeling sick....

This morning...I thought... "hey I'll check the band's myspace to see if it said anything about the concert" because the record store had told us the venue was closed down when we got our refund. Sure enough....the concert was fucking moved...2 hours earlier..and maybe a mile down the street. FUCK

So..I'm lanning on blowing up the record store. Think I'll get away with it?
