Made it back to Sacramento safely, and the countdown to Corey's graduation from Universal Technical Institute and our chance to go back to Seattle for as long as we please is ON!: If I did my math right : 155 days.

Corey and I are not happy to be back. Sure Sacramento is our little "home" together, but it's not HOME. Plus the forecasted temperatures are sending us to places with free a/c and sleeping all day.

The rest of the blog is going to be a recap and photo vomit. Photos will be spoilered.

Our flight was about 40m minutes later, due to computer issues (not good when you rely on said computers to run the plane). When we finally got in the air (it was a total of 1 hr 25 minutes of fly time) Corey and I plugged our headphones into our own mp3 players, but pulled out a notepad to doodle on. We made some weird designs, but I don't have pictures of that. We also talked shit about other passengers via note pad scribblings.

Corey very focused on his music

Tard faces on a plane.

When we landed Corey's parents met us not far outside the gate. We got big hugs from his mother, and watched silently by his father (nothing new there). We went to have dinner at Taco Time (dear god how I missed their food! There are NONE in the state of California).

After dinner, we went back to Corey's parents' house, unloaded our small amount of luggage ( we each just had a carry on) and started up the El Camino to go visit my mother. I missed that car! The raw power of it, the smell of the fumes, the roar that rings in your ears +creams self+ We had a nice visit with my mom, I got to meet my new "bother" (my parents got a dog shortly after I moved out)
and see how the remaining kitties are doing. Mauska(yes, his name is yugoslavian for "cat" leave me alone) is a fat fuck now....
And poor Sarah Jane isn't aging too well. (I didn't take a picture of her, she can keep her dignity)
My new "brother" Kumara, is a cutie, but very protective of my mother. I gave him my tater tots from Taco time though so he kind of warmed up to me.

I had presents for my ultimate girl crush and one of my besties: Acey, so Corey and I rumbled on over to her house. He mother was excited to see me too. I love when that happens smile We got permission to take Acey out to Seattle with us, even though it was already past 10 pm.

Photo vomit from Seattle with Acey starting on Capitol Hill and Dick's Burgers:

The things you see on Broadway during Seattle's Gay Pride weekend!

Sadly our copy of the Stranger got ruined

DICK'S BURGERS! I only got fries and a shake this time...

This was in the parking lot of Dick's. +creams again+

The me

Burger assembly. I love the special sauce, I love the fries. I love that my fiance can eat more Dick's than me (yes, we do make sexual jokes ALL of the time about it, but the food it fantastic, better than In N Out any day)

We decided to run around other parts of Seattle, photographing ourselves doing retarded things with the landmarks

Corey and I in front of the Holland America Cruise Line office. This was Corey's first job with my father's company.

The security guard was keeping a very close eye on us

Late Saturday morning we went over to Corey's sister's new condo and had lunch with her, his parents, his only cousin Jessica, and his grandparents (who were the ENTIRE reason we were up in the area).
After lunch, Corey, Jessica and I went to go meet up with my friend Jessica (Corey's lan to see one of his friends fell through because mwell...the girl is an idiot and doesn't deserve my man's friendship. I'm not jealous, just tired of him putting out all the effort to maintain a friendship that she seems to have no care for anymore.)

We went to the mall and I giggle now, knowing the a/c was on in the mall, but the skies were their usual beautiful overcast and I doubt the temperature got over 70 our entire trip. We ended up in Fireworks where I bought my amazing friend Damielle (who is probably reading this: LOVE YOU HONEY) a late birthday present, and Corey added to my Ugly Doll collection (photos to come in another blog). We loaded ourselves up on chocolate (mostly from Godiva +drool)love and then we had to go back and change for dinner.

We changed into some nice clothes (but not super formal) and rode with Corey's sister (while his parents drove a different car) to his Grandparents' house. Jessica (cousin) changed into her nice clothes while the rest of us flipped through the wedding album and looked at the pictures of his grandparents from 50 years ago. What a trip through time! We toasted to them and wished them happiness through many more years to come. The 8 of us piled into 2 different cars and drove to the Space needle for dinner.

I'd hate to be the window washer

The family and table dressings:

I had the drink called Mt. Rainier

Seasalt and lavendar infused butter

The special couple

What better way to celebrate my Seattle heritage than by drinking coffee in the Space Needle!

back on the ground

Sunday my parents had put together a bbq family and friend get together for me.
The amount of family that came was OVERWELHMING. I was just really hoping to see my friends and my aunt and her family and my grandparents, but it blossomed out to great aunts and extended cousins....people I haven't seen in years. But my mom made my favorite dish (stromboli) and it was a lot of fun.

Me and the loverly Dami

There's my dad in the left corner

The cool kids table (highschool friends)

Family. I was too lazy to get off the couch and go outside to take a good picture. There's the back of my grandma's head and my extended family and neighbors are more visible. The young blonde is my 13 year old cousin who is about 2 inches taller than me....

The friend tackle when we said we needed to head to the airport

We left with tears in our eyes (I did at least) and finished shoving our belongings into our bags. Corey's parents drove us to the airport

Corey and I waved good bye to Seattle. and now....we're hot, annoyed and exhausted.

I got my present from Violentpatriot over the weekend (but didn't check the mail til today). The undies are gorgeous! I will post pictures when I feel the motivation to get off my ass.

Enjoy the photos.

I'm tired. I've added to my amazon list, and the link is now in my profile somewhere. Please add to my closet...I need it.

Good evening SG land.
