Hellloooooo SG Land
I'm having a very, very lame Memorial Weekend. I would so much rather be in Washington, helping Corey's parents hel his sister move into her new home. Instead, I'm sitting on my ass, trying to think of something interesting to tell you lovelies.
I'm failing dramatically at that.
I finally motivated myself to go to the gym in the apartment complex regularly, and I'm trying my best to eat healthy. It doesn't help that Corey's mom sends us large gladware containers of cookies every week...especially the last batch of peanut butter and chocolate no bake cookies, those are definitely my weakness. I'm really hoping going to the gym and eating healthy will push back the depression I've been facing. I guess I just don't really feel like I've been accomplishing anything since I moved to Sacramento in late November.
I'm. Still. On. The. Job. Hunt. FUCK!
Corey did buy me a yoga mat and one of the inflatable exercise balls, so I can work out in the apartment if I don't feel like dragging my ass to the gym. And comcast has yoga lessons on demand.
We also bought 2 very inexpensive machetes at....Walmart, of all fucking laces. We hacked up a watermelon this morning. Sharp objects makes me all sorts of tingly.
Corey's mom had gone to "Petapalooza" in the Seattle area last weekend and bought Astrid a present.

And here's just a random picture of Astrid at my laptop. The kitty on the background is my late, great Fat Cat TJ.

Astrid was not too...happy with his present
He is currently passed out in front of a fan.
Thursday, we rented a rug doctor and cleaned our carpets, fixing the grunginess that is in the video above. It's so nice having that fresh. cleanliness. And if Nugget (the chihuahua now in Ben's care) dirties them up again, I'm kicking her butt!
The lovely miss Hexxus has a birthday coming up in the next few weeks. I really wish I had the money to get her something....especially since she's helping me fix up some of my photos. SO...you should all get her something...and me, while you're at it!
My wishlists are feeling neglected!
Well...I'm going to continue my lazy, boring memorial weekend and sit on the couch with Astrid, avoiding the unhealthy food that clutters our kitchen. I'll be on most of the weekend, perving out on these lovely ladies, searching for a photographer to work with and going through the whole Icanhascheezburger network. Maybe I'll add a folder of all the little LOLs I've saved. Maybe....
Oh...here's my tits, so go back and read everything, then stare! PLEASE!?!?!?!
