I'm not a fan of summer....
2 reasons: The sun and I don't get along and 2. FUCKING MOSQUITOES. My entire right calf is covered in bites, and so are random other bits of me. The itch is just bad. The calamine lotion I bought is too runny too.
I will say though, that the nicer weather is improving my mood. I love the rain, but the rain here just makes me miss Seattle more.
Yesterday was a crazy day, actually, this week's been kind of off. Thursday I shot my LONG AWAITED Combichrist themed set. I can't think of a good title though....hmmmm. That's the reason I'm covered in bug bites, we shot outside near a small creek. I think the set was AMAZING. There are some things I would've changed, maybe a more warehouse style setting, and green tinted lighting would've been nice. But I'm going to submit it anyways. I really need to work on poses that make me look thinner, I've packed on a LITTLE pudge with all the stress.
While I was shooting, Corey took Astrid into the vet to have a meet and greet. Then yesterday, we got him fixed. He was wide awake when we picked him up, and still his fiesty self, but mommy gave him pain killers and he's so out of it. It's adorable. I bought him a collar and name tag and a bunch of treats, bought the hamster treats too. I really need to pay more attention to the little fuzz ball.
While we were picking u Astrid, there was this DOUCHE in a lifted truck who parked in front of 3 open spots, Corey got out and yelled at him. The guy tried taking a pic of Corey's truck, we raced off and avoided him. I stayed in the truck while Corey got Astrid to see if the guy came around again...he did. He was overacting, seriously, he was in the wrong, not Corey. I got out of the truck and started screaming at him, because again, he tried taking a picture. I couldn't hear anything he was fucking saying, but he drove off and we went and talked to the security guards because Corey knows them.
We're really paranoid again. FUCK THIS CITY.
I had bought myself the Guide to Living dvd and the girls hoody. They came yesterday too. Corey and I watched the dvd last night and it was great. I've been wearing my hoody constantly, it's adorable and comfortable! But I need to stop spending money. Still no job, and I have to pay our half of the rent again (not like I'm bitching, I'm glad I can help Corey with it). I do have a paypal if anyone wants to give me money to live on
You'll have to ask for the info on it if you do!
I'm hoping that maybe I will start getting more photoshoots, and will make money that way. I'm still searching for a job though.
