Bought some Elmore Leonard today. I need to stop spending so much. But there's something about books, movies, or music that I really can't help myself. I got Fire in the Hole and Mr. Paradise. I haven't read Leonard since about high school. He is a Michigan author, too.
I do need to liven things up a bit. I can't think of much to do alone. My friends all seem to be busy (or ignoring me
). So, I have been trying to get out to keep myself busy. I like my house, but I'm on the move so much it seems like I have to get out of it when I have time off. It's easier in the summer when I can go for a walk or a bike ride. I like to go somewhere nice to read and maybe people watch.
Ever see the BBC show Sherlock? I'm about 15 min in and I might get hooked. There's a lot like the books, but just in a modern setting. Quite good. The rapport between Holmes and Watson is spot on.
