Oberon... such a good friend... Way to end the night...

Ever beat yourself up for no reason over things in the past? Been doing that a lot lately. I keep looking back on relationships and how things might have been different and we lived happily ever after. But then, if that was to be, why did we break up? This keeps going through my head. I mean, I do have a nice life. I'd like to do more, but that might be a problem. I might be trying to do too much, and then get down when I can't do it all. I'm funny that way.

Had someone ask why I wasn't married and with kids yet. Normally I don't mind this but they were kind of persistent. "Don't your parents want grandkids?" Maybe a little, but they've seen friends kids be terrible parents where the grand parents have to step in, so they know the grand parent thing is a rough road too. They want my sister and I to be happy. They don't live their lives through us. I am getting kind of up there in age, but it's a nice life. I have a good job, a house, friends, and a life. My sister is the same way. And we did it ourselves. No help from others. That's saying something, right? Oh well.
