so im still alive. still in my sweets and flip flops, been finishing a poster for punknitemike. sent him the JOG, hope he likes it. Have one more poster to do for the weekemd for Deeks upcooming release. I tell ya, we started laying out the issue and my coomp decides it hates laying out magazine spreads. H's brother is coming over tonight for the rest of the weekend, going out to eat tonight for his birthday.

alot has gone on since last time posted which was like 2 months ago, im not sure cos the date on my comp is set to april 9 1970. Y2K is years away. haha.

we went to vegas for jeremy and karens wedding, H and I tied the knot aswell. totally the best thing and time ive ever done and had. vegas was goofy and cool. a total 24 hour city, puts new york to shame in that aspect. whats funny is we drank the entire time, but i dont remeber being drunk, but looking at the pix, i totally was.

as with the gettysburg story i think i may have been in the moment. i was stoned then at gettysburg and while typing out the story, i am currently not now, and havent been for like 2 weeks. id rather be stoned than drunk, im on my third glass of wine. weekends are my time and while im designing shit i like to be a little off kilter. makes the design abit more truthful and off. the poster for mike came out fucking beautiful, hope he likes it. im in love with and plan on screen printing them on tuesday. ill put it up as soon as he approves it. ha, thats what working as a professional desiigner does to you. approves. i hate the word. watched a bit of the filth and the fury last night. when i have work to do, i watch it for inspiration. the pistols are the true forms and always will be. ii never understood why they always get slack. the damned get crediit for the first record and shit, but they sounded like the stooges and mc5. the pistols did their own thing with the most ridiculous influences and came out with something beautiful and true. ive lived by it since hearing them for the 1st time. hhave rancid on at the time need to change it. 2nd time around. lets go, a great fucking record. all of theirs is.

put on sandinista! the record is great. 3 records with cool artwork. did you know the futura (the legendary grafitti artist) did the typography for combat rock. another fucking fabulous and possibly my favorite clash record. i found a 1 off S/T clash LP at an antique store in WV with engravings outside of the LP label for 3 bux. one of my gems.

its been slow on the tattoo front for the last month, been busy with deek and now posters. pick up on it in the next few days. getting the ribs tattooed in the next few days, looking forward to that. came up with cool xeroxed designs im getting permanently applied. i love getting tattoed. the whole thought behind it kicks ass. we totally where our heart on our sleeves. kudos to everyone that feels the same. norrit, H, gilby and i went and saw crash a couple of weeks ago. fucking cool movie. all about karma and destiny. i totally believe in that, if youre an asshole, youll be treated like an asshole, what comes around goes around. full circle, know what i mean. we have vertigo to watch tonight if we dont g to D's for willy wonka. i love hitchcock. he had some of the most kickass posters worldwide for his movies. his movies and posters are the best in film in my opinion. its 2pm, i need to start the deek poster, need to get some milk cartons so i can take the pix to start the poster. should be interesting, ill post the deek and punknitemikes when theyre finished. later all!
