Feeling confused about a lot of things recently. Trying to be bisexual in a world that doesn't accept shades of grey is one of them.

In the hetero community, I have to pass as straight, because I'm believed to be "really fully gay".

"Why don't you just admit that you're gay?" I've heard THAT before many times.

In the gay community, I have to pass as gay, because bisexuals are treated with contempt. I have dated "lesbians" before who were really "bi", but had to pretend to be fully gay in order to not be shunned.

"You're on the BI now, GAY later plan". I've THAT before many times, too.

Why does everyone seem to feel like BISEXUAL = child molester, or INTRAVENOUS drug users?

Can't you just let us be?

We're not greedy.

You really wouldn't want to be bi, if you were, frankly. It's confusing. As Woody Allen says, it may increase your chance of a date on Saturday night by 50%, but it also increases your confusion by about 500%.

I just want to be accepted as is, thank you.

Can anyone else relate to this?
