I've decided not to go to my tenth high school reunion. I don't need confirmation that I'm the square peg among a bunch of conservative Christian, married, childbearing Republicans. No one I could have a decent conversation with has confirmed he/she will be attending. I'm not really excited by the promise of surface conversation or reflecting upon childhood anecdotes with people I barely knew then and certainly don't know now.
