One-hundred-eighty applications in three and a half weeks, to be exact. With the economy the way it is, the market is not exactly fantastic for seekers. It's unfortunate that we met at probably the worst time for me to get a job. I bet most employers are getting inundated with lots of applications, all from equally qualified applicants. At this point, I'm asking for a break and a bit of luck, too. I keep my nose to the grindstone and pray for something, anything.

We'll see. E and I are beginning to have our doubts. Nearly a month at this and no interviews. I have a well-written resume, an excellent cover letter, I'm highly qualified, and I have good references. Still nothing.

I wonder when I'll see some rewards for all of my hard work.
