Yeh, soooo.....

My interview today was good. If it gets pushed onto the next round and I eventually nail the job I could be making $50,000 a year. I hope I don't fuck this up.

I mean, I sure hope they just don't look at me and think- He's much too awesome for this job. Cuz that'd suck.

I'll gladly take $50,000 a year.

LIFE SUCKS.

My powerbook has died. At least, the hard drive has. Now, this wouldn't normally cause panic, but ALL OF MY pictures from ALL OF MY trips with MY WIFE!!! are on there. My itunes library, my porn movies ( blush )- my resume, lots of important documents.

And no- I had no backup. I'M SO STUPID!!!!

I got the interview with Blizzard in California. Passed my phone interview and they want me in Cali for a face to face. Sucks they're not paying for anything, but it's a dreamjob and a foot in the door and a way to get out to California.

ask them to pay for your relocation. and ask for guaranteed hours. you'll have a helluva time living out here for only $10/hr, but if you're good at your job, it might be a good opportunity.

well, i will tell you it isn't especially easy to move up. you will have to stick it out at 10 an hour for a year at the very least. a year of crappy shifts, and getting shafted. but a lot of people do that whole foot in the door thing and it works for them ...

things will just be really tough. it's the OC. things are expensive. if you're prepared to tough it out, and never go out, rarely see your wife, eat rice a lot, and want to kill yourself dealing with traffic every day, go for it.. but with a debt like yours, i'd think really long and hard about it.
