I MAY be approaching some kind of spiritual epiphany due to some ol' Norse awakening or something, I dunno. All I know is I'm reading a very good book about Odinism called The Rites of Odin by Ed Fitch. making sense it is. who knows.......

haha, yeah it seems they want you to pay for absolutely everything now and everything needs a specialty channel that will just cost...$5 extra.
I suppose, its better than not getting them at all, but still it adds up. Right now I am not getting HBO and Showtime like I used to, I probably could...but that's another 20 a month which means I'd have to cut back with something.
Right now, I can magically "find" all the boxing I want via the internet, so I'm good for the time being.

Oh, and you can still play, chances are there are a few teams in your area. The sport is great, not only because of the game itself, but the friendly culture associated with it. It's rather the opposite of a sport of that type of contact, but its the custom to throw a party for the visiting team and you all have pints after the matches.
My favorite sport by far, to play and to watch.

Took my boy to our local Scottish Festival last weekend, ate some Haggis, listened to the Pipe bands, and watch with great intent the Highland Games, which I plan on entering in the Amateur class next time they're around. Problem being, I have all the implements to practice EXCEPT the Caber, so the next step is to try...

Holy Shit. I think we are long lost brothers.
I WANT to go to Scotland and do a stonelifting tour like Steve Jeck. I read about it in Stones of Strength a few years ago and made up my mind to go before I am 28.

All this negativity is really pissing me off. Yes he murdered his family and thats entirely horrific. That has nothing to do with his wrestling legcay. Thats like saying because some Candian kille dhis famly, all Canadians are murderers! Gah! Oh well. I will always have found memories of Benoit. What confuses me the most is it seems that of the people that knew him, no one has a bad word to say about this guy and his attitude towards his family. And also the almost ritualisticness of it does not say it was done in anger or a crime of passion,. it does not seem like roid rage. Who knows? No one will ever really know now I guess.
