Well...it was sort of a joke. Only sort of. I was leaving a comment on Logan's journal entry, and she was talking about some people wanting to be her sidekick. I mentioned that I would apply for the job, but that there would be too many applicants. I then said "Hey! We should form an SG superhero group!"
I was kind of a joke at first, but now, I dunno. If we could get enough interest, we might actually be able to start a group based around it. Maybe even start a comic book...I dunno!
I don't really have the talent for the artwork anymore, like I used to. Or the organizing. But I think I could provide chararacter background and storyline creativity.
I have'nt put alot of thought into it yet, but if your interested, we might be able to work something out. Maybe create a comic book based on, and by, SG members, and have a group of those who are actually in the comic. I dunno. Talk to some others about this. I'm fairly new to SG and haven't looked at all the groups yet. I think there's one based on comic books. But my comic book knowledge is limited. I was mostly into Marvel, the "X" titles. Rarely did I read anything else.

yes yes yes, I know, for those few of who actually read this, it's been a while, so here we go. I'm finally trying to kick off a fighting career, albeit an amatuer, but ya gotta start somewhere. I'm enjoying it alot, and I regularly come home beaten to shit. I get my licks in too, and My first fight is in February, so wish me luck!!

How does one become an acrobat? I guess there are 2 major paths to acrobattiness... The first is a progression from sport, usually gymnastics, trampoline or power tumbling. Alot of times people will transition into performing after a successful career as a competitor (or if they just want to take it in a more artisitic direction.) Thats how I ended up here. The second is to start straight from Circus. Most people who do that are raised into it from a family tradition, but there are circus schools. Both paths usually start young.
Me, I did 11 years of gymnastics, 10 years of theater, and alot of vocal music.
Wow... That was alot of words. I hope you find a way to get to take more classes, it seems like you're really passionate about it.

Its better already. I think my first day issues stemmed largely from the fact that I was the only beginner in the class. Today there were five white belts in with me... They don't get mad when they have to drill with you.

You spell pretty well for a guy with a tounge in his ear, maybe that is a marketable skill.

Thanks for the martial arts advice, I took my first class today. It looks like I have a long road of unlearning 19 years of gymnastics habits ahead of me, but it'll happen with patience and time.
You teach? Do you find that alot of your beginning students feel, for lack of a better word, physically retarded when they start? I'll admit I felt like a bit of a jackass today...
