My friends are trying to find a nice guy for their coworker, and for some reason I am one of the first they thought of. Normally I would go for it because it couldn't hurt to try, but they don't seem to notice something obvious: She is 10 years older then me, and though I act way older then I am (which is why they keep asking me how old I am), we also share no interest at all.
I feel this is stemming from me hardly talking about the kind of person I am, so they assume that as a geek I would just be happy with a date. Also, they apparently don't know many nice guys.
The other thing I took from this is when they asked me "What kind of girls do you like" I really had no better answer then "The weird ones". I should work on realizing what I want/need...
