so I have decided that instead of staying home for my unnecessarily lengthy winter vacation (one month) I am going to backpack again. this summer was just so amazing, I cant resist the opportunity to head overseas while I have the time and means! THUS, in two weeks I am off to London and then Glasgow. ANY advice on where to go and what to see (no obvious tourist sites needed) would be MUCH appreciated. or hey, anybody who happens to be over there in the UK, let me know!!!

I've left you some advice (of sorts) on the SGS thread you started - if you're serious about spending the summer here, you might think of bringing some of your best portfolio pieces with you (or sending them on in advance) - can't hurt to lay a little groundwork, can it ??
2. if you are going over sees why don't you use this wonderful site we are members of and look for people over there you can stay with. it would probably be really interesting and cool if people opened up their home to you. post something on a board, or search for people by region. just an idea...
