Ok lets see....We (at work) are still all wound up here becasue of the sales the hurricane's are creating for us. I'm sort of enjoying it now though. What I am also enjoying now is the kick ass weather the last hurricane has left behind.
ITs like 81 during the day and low 60's at night..scattered clouds. Its so nice!! So I'm going camping this weekend Yo!! Woooo. This brings me to my situation..my story if you will.
There is a girl I will call "M". M kinda rocks. Shes pretty, spontatious, super kind to everyone TO A FAULT. She knows I have a little thing for her but no agenda about it. (I have other "agendas" that don't start with an M) We hang and do stuff thats sort of datey, but not so much.
Well there is a guy she was intrested (or him her ..not sure how this works) in but has changed her mind. He got brave last week (good for you man!!) and sort of told her he wants more from her (dating (pussy)) and shes been unsettled ever since. Shes was gonna tell him this on wednesday night but didn't find the place or timing to do so. So when weekend plans came up she said she was going camping with friends (at that time it was only her and I with hopes to find others). She felt the crunch (that not being open and honest will bring to you) and under and uncomfortable silent pressure...INVITED HIM ALONG.
Well she told me this yesterday afternoon at lunch on the phone. I pondered it during the work day and decided I was gonna have a better time solo on this trip, but would have enjoyed a friend or too with me no doubt. I told her I couldn't go on my ride home and She kind flipped out, and was taken aback if you will. I told I didn't see the big deal...why not just go camping with him?? She said no she couldn't and I said.."but its ok for the 3 of us to go????"
Instead of telling him (as I would have) that she F'ed up isn't in the position to invite others along..shes not gonna go. I told her I had altered my plans and was gonna go on Saturday instead of Friday right after work..and the SHE was still invited. Details are its a solo trip still, but I have one or 2 maybe's on the invited list.
Waht is your take on this? Was I too harsh on her. Is she being manipulative?? Is it just a sad situation. Or was she rude to invite an unstable friendship along on this trip with me....and our little quirky friendship.??
