I posted the invite to my New Years party here twice and then personlly invited around 15 or so people (maybe more). Not one single SG person showed up. Not.....one.
I posted it on myspace...and ended up meeting people that didn't know where they got the invitation. They just saw it reposted and came. Not one from here though.
I shoudln't be all that bothered by it...but it nags me just a tad. We worked hard and spent a good chunck of money. We had a great party too! People drinking, dancing, getting their buzz on and meeting new people..all that party stuff. There were a good number of people that came and left, and thats cool..everyones gotta find their nitch and be where they want to be. Lots of people at Midnight with champ in hand.
I'll be over it in a day or two. It just shows the snobery that is now and then complained about on this site.
Perhaps I am wrong. maybe someone did show and I didn't make it to say hello to them, or I missed them somehow. I tried to say hi to everyone though. I made a point of it.
