Okay sooo I guess I've had a few nick names throughout my life..
Obviously I have my self given nick name of Cherry Buttons, due to my love of both cherries and buttons. I actually collect buttons and both items tattooed on me. Cherries being my first ever tattoo! I shortly after created the name!
I think nick names really never stuck with me.. My real first name being Jessica, I obviously got Jess as a shortened version...
At a young age I was called Sika for a while... by my twin sister, who struggled to say my full name of Jessica. so she stuck with the middle syllable as a toddler and the parents adapted for a while too.. Not actually sure how you would spell that..
I then for a lot of primary school got Fluffy from my Dad.. This came from the fact I had Quite frizzy poofy hair as a kid so I would get mom to put my hair in plaits. Though by the end of the school day my hair would be fighting the plaits and be really fuzzy and fluffy.. this also extended into Fluffy Bunny Rabbit, and Fluffica as a weird join of Jessica and Fluffy.. I don't get called that much anymore.
As a sad emo high schooler I was dubbed Sad Clown due to an image I had as my DP on MSN messenger which was a illustration of a sad scary looking clown with black eyes.
Not actual photo I used and trust me I looked I couldnt find it on the internet anywhere!
The names quietened down int till the last few years of high school when my best friend Aaron would call me Pinkie due to my glasses, which I swear were PURPLE but it kinda stuck with the guys in the IT classes.. the name died when they glasses did to be honest. They literally just fell apart on my face one day!
Lastly I guess my twin sister has for a number of years now called me Steve.. This is from Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs. The money who is voiced by Neil Patrick Harris's name is Steve and we use to love quoting movies and shows. I guess I could quote steve really quite well so it stuck! I guess I don't actually get called that anymore seeing as we don't talk right now...
My partner calls me a number of things which has ranged through the years of our relationship, Baby, Squish, Pumpkin Face, Biscuit Face, babes, ilybae, sookielala and well loads of others!
I guess my main nickname right now is Cherry and I'm fine with that, none of the other really suited me or I hated them lol
