I'm coming to you my SG family in need of help! 😫
While honey mooning in Vegas after getting married in New York both me and my partner had our travel money cards skimmed. Somehow someone made copies of our cards and proceeded to take out al of my partners money and some of mine as well as some cash., over all we lost over $2k US which is around $3k AUS and we are devastated. We won't have enough for our hotels as we have 3 weeks left to travel. This has ruined our time here in Vegas. We have done nothing but deal with banks, talk with friends and family and cry 😭 I have never felt so low, we are in such a bad place..
The banks though helpful can't secure out money back till up to 45 days. Obviously we don't have that kind of time frame.
So with the loving suggestion of our friends we have started a go fund me account to replace our lost money and so far our friends have over whelming lay surprised us with their support and contribution. We are so touched! We are 1/3 of the way to fixing this horrible disaster.
