We're at the end of a long weekend here in Australia but for me its the end of my fabulous Birthday weekend!! SO many great things have happened this weekend I wanted to share them with my lovely followers!
First in case you were wondering I turned 23! and no one likes you when you're 23! *sings*
My Birthday actually kinda started a week ago when I had lunch with my family. My parents were away this weekend over my birthday. My grandma send me money which I used on getting ma hair dids and I had a great thai lunch with my parents and my brother. I got some awesome gifts too!
A curling tong, thread for my over locker, nail polish, to do lists, cookie cutters, a pinup calendar and a spotlight card for all my sewing needs!!
So as some of you might know I have a twin sister! and 23 years ago this is what my Mom looked like carrying us, how crazy is this?!? A womans body is a fucking intense power! loving you momma!
Birthday Morning
Stated like so.. I woke up at 7 and jumped on my partner singing "Its my birthday, its my birthday!" because I am 5 years old haha and I immediately skype my twin sister who lives in London and I watch her open the presents I sent her.A Polaroid camera with film and a case, a BMO plushie and beanie, hoop earring and happy pills which have happy notes inside them. Unfortunately because AUS Post SUCKS my present hasn't arrived yet so expect an update on this blog later this week of what she got me!
All while my partner Linh is cooking in the kitchen the most perfect birthday breakfast! french toast, with bacon,strawberries and mango! nom nom nom
Birthday Day
We go out to the shopping center as I needed eye lashes, hair dye and she needed some thing before coming home. While im doing a dye test on a patch of my hair she starts cooking again in the kitchen and I'm like "ummm what are you doing?" Shes putting food in containers and getting out knives and forks. Only when she gets down the picnic blanket do I realize we are going on a picnic! I love picnics! so I start packing these containers into the basket and putting sunscreen on as its like 35 degrees and I don't know where we are going. We head off to some location which ended up being in the eastern suburbs of Sydney Edgecliff to this awesome location by the water where you can see the habour bridge and opera house. The wind from the water is cool while the sun being hot its perfect!
we eat bacon cabonara pasta, more strawberries and mango, my favorite orange and poppy seed muffins and she even bought my favorite energy drink! we laid in the sun and just chilled for a couple hours and it was honestly the best part of my birthday!
Birthday Night
We head home so I can dye my hair and chill before my birthday dinner. Clearly the theme for this birthday was food! which is okay because I love foods! I dye, wash, blow dry and style my hair before getting ready. All pinup like!
2 of my presents from my partner was a new Bettie Page dress to wear to dinner and a a new makeup bag with flowers and skulls on it. super cute! I have my dinner with a few close friends at my favorite thai restaurant and I eat pork belly, sizzling beef, rice and got a caramel birthday cake! we had a couple drinks at the pub too but I was exhausted!
Now as I said I have a twin sister! Whom has lived in London for the past 4 years and I miss her dearly. She is my womb buddy, my best friend and this time is always a little hard with out her. I'm use to sharing my birthday with her and I can get quite sad on my birthday because she isnt here. you can only do or say so much over skype...
SO this year I sent a message around to my friends I knew in London who don't know Emily to see if one of them would go to her Birthday lunch and give her a birthday hug from me. Only one guy could do it and I was surprised that it ended up being him. He use to teach me dance at uni and he was the most inspiring and hard arse of a teacher I either loved or hated him with a passion. So it was a nice surprise to have him so keen to do this for me. I gave him the address of her birthday dinner, the best time to go there, where I knew she wanted to sit in the cafe, what she was wear and what she looks like.

This was pretty much the best part of my Birthday and receiving this text from her "I JUST GOT A HUG FROM SEAN! Im dying Jess just Dying I want to cry!!" And i can tell in this photo she is trying not to cry, I have never been so happy! This is probably one of the best and saddest Birthdays for me and her, she has had a really hard year this past year and I just neededto do something extra special. also... how much of a babe is my sister? Should she be a SG? haha
Speaking of SG while I was out to my birthday dinner my new set Grit shot by @coolicio went live in Member Review!! I think it's so kool that it came out on my Birthday! Even kooler is it gets bought and gets me my Pink status! I would just die!
Post Birthday Day
So my finacee also got me more than a dress and a wash bag for my birthday, she also bought me a new tattoo! Which you've probably already seen on my page.
