Im not sure if this is a hopeful blog topic or an actual SG topic but either way Im doing it!! Movies are so great ^_^
This is a HARD ONE!! I love sooooo many movies.. so I might talk about my top 5? and not the obvious ones I love like Star Wars or Lord of the Rings but the other more not as known ones.. yes I think I will!!
Movie number 1. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
Me and my sister became obsessed with this movie, its one that always makes me happy. I love the many quotes we get from it, and Niel Patrick Harris voicing a monkey! My sister even calls me Steve and I call her Loon (Loon is a reference from Gilmore Girls though) but somehow it stuck. I even have a plate she made me with quotes all over it and a moustache. This movie makes me happy and the second one was even better!!
Movie number 2. Chicago
This movie makes me want to sing.. except that i suck at singing but I am a dancer so I love watching this to just be inspirted by the classic jazz dancing and the era is jsut amazing.. If Im sick or sad this is my go to movie, also one of my most watched movies by far. As well as most played album in my IPod. The songs are fabulous! We both reached for the gun, the gun, oh yes, oh yes, oh yes, we both reached for the, the gun, the gun, the gun, the gun, the GUUUNNNNNN.Love me some sexy babes with legs and amazing voices... its got everything!! tap dancing, vocals of all ranges and amazing outfits.. Its my dream come true...
Movie number 3. Horton Hears a Who
Another Movie I got to when Im sick or sad, I LOVE Jim Carry he makes me so happy with his silly face and voice antics, plus hes great in other movies like The Grinch, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and so many others! I love the anime section of this movie "yay horton is the greatest!""I will make monkeys of these monkeys! It is their destiny!" I love everything about this and the quotes, Its just so fun!What I love about kids movies which are overall my favorite genre of movie is that there is always a happy ending, ALWAYS and thats why I watch them when Im sad or sick, they make me feel better.
Movie number 4. The Boat That Rocked
I have this movie to thank for my musical education of 60's rock. I love the soundtrack of this even more than the movie. The quotes, the sex, the drug use, the lesbians, the music EVERYTHING about this movie makes me so happy. The intro of Midnight Mark and Aarons Nevilles Tell It Like It Is plays and I just die inside.. Beautiful and just everything.. and the quote by the Count about the thought of how great things are right now and know that you know that itll never be as good.. I love how honest that is.. <3 So many great british actors too I adore british movies and tv shows
Movie number 5. Kung Fu Panda
This is actually my NUMBER 1 movie and I don't know why I didn't think of it to begin with.. but it is.. I also LOVE Jake Black, hes so funny and confident.. I love him in things like School of Rock and The Holiday... But what I love in this movie besides the usual things like quotes, cute things ect but the message.. you want something hard enough you can make it happen.. I need more of this in my life.. In fact I'm going to watch this movie RIGHT NOW the second one was just as good too.. and sad.. I cry like a baby in the last one every time. such a great movie and ALWAYS a happy movie ^_^
