So these pairs of cherries were my very first tattoo! I got them done when I was 19 and I had to wait 6 months after booking them because the girl who did them is so popular she was booked out! She had been my favorite artist for a while and after I saw her tattoo Sabina Kellys feet at the 2nd Sydney Tattoo and Body Art Expo I knew I wanted her to do my first ones. I got driven to the airport at 4am, took a plane to Brisbane, got a train and then a bus to the backyard studio of Mimsey Gleeson of Trailor Trash Tattoo's. Where she helped me pick the size, the angle and placement for these bad boys before giving me my first tattoo! She was lovely and she gave me heart shaped lovely pops to have why she did it ^_^
I never get spontaneous tattoos its against my organizing and anxious nature.. I usually like to know I want a tattoo for over a year before I go into motion of getting it, even small things. But I had wanted these tattoos since I was 14 years old. I wanted them on my hips right over my ovaries as a sexual and female loving, woman pride symbol of the time I went through when I decided I wanted them, discovering my sexuality ties in a lot with these tattoo.
Now I forget they are there are a lot.. I love my high wasted skirts and pants so I barely see them or anyone else for that matter! They still need touch ups but I love them I love cherries! My name kinda shows that ^_^
