So I have just awoken, hangover in full swing from the Black Heart Burlesque Predrinks here in Sydney last night!
Where i got to meet fabulous people like @exkyu @countessa @drunky_the_bear @_dresden @minda_ @vagas_ @puffin @christina @pebblezink and many more that I probably remember their real names over their Suicide Girl names! Got quite confusing! ( I hope I tagged everyone right!)
The night started off intense with the rain that was going on and when I finally bumped into these guys I was super overwhelmed! everyone was so nice giving hugs and asking who I was and being super friendly, I think I got a little shy! But it was easy to warm up to such great people and even though I am poor and unemployeed I still had some nice people buy me a couple of drinks which was lovely! I had my polaroid camera and so did @wick_ I was so into convo I only took 2 photos though!
I didn't have tickets to the show but Im super glad I meet up with everyone anyway! was a great night and I hope they all had fun at the show! I left to go home super jelly! My bus ride home was hell! It kicked me of like a suburb away from my house.. which it doesnt normally and I had to walk home in the scary dark! I dont like the dark >_< But my comfy drunken self was kinda okay with that, except I needed to pee so bad! Overall a great night!
Which followed from an amazing day! I had been apart of vietnamese wedding in the day, the wedding was beautiful but what I loved was seeing the tea ceremony in the morning with the drums and lion dances, as because i was wearing a tradition dress (ao dai) I got to bear a tray which was exciting! I didnt understand much of what went on but it seemed like it was the coming together of two families, exchange gifts of food and drinking tea it was really cute ^_^ I was glad to be apart of it. The wedding ceremony was beautiful though, the brides sister spoke the best poem she had written and made everyone cry! honestly it was better than the vows which fell a bit flat to me.. it was an intense busy day but a Great one!
