Hello SG! @missy @rambo
I have a few minutes before I have to get ready for work so I thought I would write a blog really quick!
I have to say I almost religiously check the SG Hopefuls group at least once a day. Sometimes more than that. I get so ecstatic when I see a big group of ladies turn pink. These ladies, pretty well all I have never met, I feel as though are sharing the same journey I am...the journey to pinkdom and becoming an official SG. I have looked at their sets, commented and showed support and to see they finally turn pink, I get excited. Some become pink very quickly, sometimes with one set or even two out. Others have been on here for a long time, putting out set after set after set in hopes that one will be bought. While I love seeing when any hopeful turns pink, whether they are new or have been here awhile, I feel exceptionally happy when I see those who have been a hopeful for a long time finally turn pink. With the last few batches of hopefuls turning pink being a hopeful for a few years, I feel as though I am celebrating with them and scream inside with excitement and tears of joy when I see that after all the time they have been a hopeful, their dream has finally come true.
I have to give an extra special kudos to those ladies for sticking things out and keep on doing sets. To go a few years and keep hoping but not seeing a set be bought, I know many of us go through the horrible phase of "I'm not good enough...I'm not pretty enough....I won't ever be a Suicidegirl." I don't know how many, or if any long time hopefuls have gone through this, but to be able to get through that and work harder and maintain a perseverance that one day it will happen, I have to say, I admire that.
I am excited to see the next batch of hopefuls who have turned pink. I hope to see more fellow hopefuls, both new to this site and those who have been around awhile, turn pink soon. There are always new and amazing sets coming out and a lot of talented, beautiful ladies. Thank you to @missy @rambo and all the SG staff for recognizing those hopefuls who have been around awhile and finally making their dreams come true. I really hope to see more soon and one day, hope to be one of them <3
