Hello loves and lovlies and happy 2019!
I am sorry I have not been as active as normal on here. I had been on Christmas vacation from Mid December until the new year..it was a much needed vacation where I got a lot of stuff done I needed to!
So what were some highlights from my vacation? Let's start with Christmas:
First, I got something I always wanted.....an ancestry kit! What's better, I got the 23andme ancestry plus health kit. I was super excited because I don't know much about my family history/ancestry and I have heard great things about these.
Second, I got what will be one of the most awesome and exciting times of my life (one of many).....tickets to a music festival called Rockville!
I am super excited about this!!!!! Seeing artists I have heard of and seen before, some I haven't and some I don't know yet! I'm going for all three days too so hopefully I can make it through all three days! I'll be posting pics come May so stay tuned for that!
Also over my Christmas break, I made a decision to gift my first new car I ever bought to my dad. I had a 2007 Chevrolet Aveo who I named Carmen. It was a great car, but we had recently acquired a new/old vehicle from our family that was a Subaru crosstrek that was newer and had less mileage (mine was about 170k). My dad was still driving my first car around and it was showing a lot of wear and tear. So I gifted Carmen to him so he could have a newer and therefore safer vehicle to drive around in.
Those were the biggest highlights of my Christmas vacation! What were some highlights from yours?
On to 2019!!!!! What's in store!
With the new year, there are always lots of new beginnings. I don't typically make new years resolutions because I can never keep them lol. However, I did tell myself I would try to hit the gym more often and when I can than I did in 2018 and eat a little better.
I was passed up for a promotion in November/December last year, and it didn't seem fair and made me a little upset. But I made a promise to myself that I would keep trying and do what I normally do and things will work out in the end. So I am going to try not to let it bother me this year and keep at things!
As for Suicidegirls? I'm still going to be on here of course! I took my break to spend time with family and get some things done I needed to, but I am back and hope I can save time to give you all new pics, hopefully videos, and more blogs.
I have a new set, Call Me Alice Capone, coming out in about 4 weeks that I hope you all will enjoy! It will be my second set and, staying with the era and theme, will be in black and white! I love black and white photos and was so inspired by the set, Linger in my arms a little longer baby by @skella and @lady that I decided I would try to do a black and white set as well (though I can't compare to the beautiful work these two lovely ladies do together!). I hope you all enjoy it!
I am also looking into doing another set sometime soon! I am looking into photographers near me to give you all a beautiful set. I hope to one day work with some of the wonderful photographers on here who have made countless beautiful sets (can you tell one of my faves????)...but of course money is always the issue (and time!). But I hope to one day work with these amazing photographers! Stay tuned for news of my third set!
My hopes for 2019 are to do a multi set with some beautiful and talented ladies and finally meet some of them on this site! I have interacted with so many wonderful ladies that it would be great to work with them! I would also like to get another tattoo. Not sure on what yet but once I find it, I'm going to aim towards my goal of getting it. My final goal is to of course turn pink! I would love to see it happen this year but if it doesn't, then I just keep hoping that one day it will! I'm up against a lot of ladies who are beautiful and make beautiful sets and have been waiting to turn pink longer than I, and it is well deserved that they have finally turned pink! Show the ladies you love and support all the love you can for 2019! They work hard and do their best to give you beautiful sets they hope you will love!
