I know that I have a few days left on the site, but I'm pretty busy here at home cleaning things up ... another big change is ahead

I'm going to try and say this all in one sweep since I'm feeling a tad nostalgic...

When I first came to this site in December, it was after months of looking at all the journals. The community intrigued and interested me. It was something that I wanted to be a part of.
I had been living in SF going to school there for over a year and I felt like I didn't have very many friends. So, as a social person by nature, I wanted to connect with people that had similar interests as me. I was tired of feeling alone and frustrated by the majority of people that I had encountered in college... closed minded, ignorant, trendy, and on some quest for a fashion competition. I needed an excuse to get out and see SF. I needed an excuse to find more of myself in this delighful city. I needed something to take my mind off of the frustrations of a bad relationship and school.
On a cold December night at home, while I was off on break, I decided to join. It was awesome. Before I knew it, I couldn't wait to get back to SF to start meeting people and hangin' out. I chatted it up with a handful of people that I'm still in contact with. I wish I could remember the first person that I talked to from the site but... to whoever you are: you did wonders
I started getting so much attention that I didn't know what to do. For the first time in my life people wanted to talk to me and meet me and it was awesome. ALl of you have contributed to helping me find confidence in myself and mature into a woman, and I can't thank you enough for that.

The first person that I met off of the site was Paul. I would have never imagined that we would become such close friends. We were supposed to meet up with Ron as well at an Ethiopian restaurant, but he had to work. So, Paul and I just sat there and chatted. From there, I started calling him almost every day for a few months... bugging the HELL out of him He even took me to my first bar! Paul has been nothing but a good friend to me and I can't thank him enough for everything. Doc, you'd better keep in touch.

My first SG event was at the Parkside when Miss Coco came to town That's where I met Dave_H, Tuffy, MissCoco, ELPH, Punt, Muller... (am I missing anyone?) I had one of the best times of my life... ever. All of them were so sweet and just rockin' beyond belief. Dave_H and I became fast friends, and there was a time when we were hanging out and chatting quite a bit He's a great guy, very talented and sweet as hell. I really should have taken you up on that offer Dave Elph and I also became good friends. Too bad I can be such a damned flake. Hey ladies, did you know he has a plethora of weenie piecings? You should check em' out! Punt and Muller and just... I love these guys. I wish we lived closer so we could hang out more It goes without saying how awesome Tuffy and Miss Coco are

I was able to spend part of my Spring Break with SGLA Oh man these guys know how to have a good time... and I mean a *good* time I met Reprobate, PoopyDave, WhooDooVoodooWedoo or something like that, Yurripitys, Trilobyte and many, many others. They had a party for me! I .. I had never had ANYONE throw me a party like that... and most of them didn't even know me that well. I was truly greatful and quite in awe. PoopyDave ended up being my prom date Yurripitys and I are such good friends. I could not have asked for anyone better. I love him to death and I can't wait till he comes home. He did the SWEETEST thing for me... SENT ME A HUGE TEDDY BEAR! *swoons* Trilobyte is *quite* the partier. He's a bundle of fun And Reprobate is very witty


I have had so many memorable times with SG that I can't possibly list them all. I wanted to name everyone, but I couldn't possibly. Well, maybe I will be more inspired to write more journals

Remember NinjaRobot and Taswell? Well, they straight up just rock my fucking socks off. Taswell, Sadie, and I went to seeOld School together and just had a blast. Then I later found out he was FROM MY AREA back home, was in a band where I was like 1 of 10 members of the audience, liked the same music as me, worked with NinjaRobot at some point, and now works with my boyfriend. NinjaRobot introduced me to my boyfriend. More than once, he totally went out of his way to make me feel at home hanging out with him and his rockin' roommates. We had SO much fun I'll never forget that drunken game of scrabble where I started making up words...

I finally found what it was to have fun, to love, to be passionate, to be me again admist the trials and tribulations of moving away from home and living in the most unfamiliar place in the world.

I'm sorry for droning on, but I wanted to say thank you

PS- I have to thank Zero1 for helping me out in every way humanly possible. I can't thank you enough for helping me move on with my life. You are amazing and please don't forget that. Keep in touch!
